Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Project Notes
Part of a multi-phase project, the building committee for Bethlehem Lutheran Church planned a parking expansion and new entrance to a collector street. The project evolved to include additional parking and an 8,500+/- SF addition to include a new sanctuary, gathering area, multi-purpose rooms and a porte-cochere. One of the unique features of the project was the location of the new entrance which as administered not only by the local street department but also the State Department of Transportation. As a result, Roger Ward Engineering worked out logistical details with the City of Carmel, INDOT, the Building Committee, Architect, and Contractor to provide a design that would address the needs of the church, while working out logistical details with the City and the State Department of Transportation.
