Notable Characteristics:
Having worked together on several previous projects, the Tom Wood Automotive Group, along with their Architect, selected Roger Ward Engineering for the survey, site design, engineering and coordination of a 33,500 SF Tom Audi building addition. Being located in an established, high-traffic corridor, nestled between the City of Indianapolis and Carmel, Roger Ward Engineering had to factor in several design issues, such as the configuration of the addition in relation to the existing parking areas, existing site conditions, as well as utilizing the existing drainage facility in an effort to reduce costs. As a result of their productive and long standing relationship with the local municipalities, Roger Ward Engineering was able to work through the review and plan approval process in a timely and effective manner, resulting in exceeding schedule expectations. In addition, not only did Roger Ward Engineering provided the Contractor with permitting assistance in an effort to expedite commencement of construction, but also provide the construction layout services.
